Wetaskiwin businesses robbed tail end of August long weekend

Multiple businesses off of 56 Street in Wetaskiwin, Alta. were broken into.

Co-owner of Fully Promoted, Jane Tate, arrived to work this morning to the front door of her business being smashed in.

Inside Fully Promoted 90 per cent of the clothing was gone, including the majority of the Nike merchandise. Cash from the register, wireless speakers, chargers and more were also reported missing.

Tate estimates at least $10,000 worth of damages from the robbery.

The business next door also had its locks broken and door ajar.

Wetaskiwin RCMP were on scene in the morning of August 4, 2020 and continue to investigate.
