Areas of Wetaskiwin are without power this morning after an unplanned power outage.

UPDATE: Power is back on.

ORIGINAL STORY: Areas of Wetaskiwin are without power this morning after an unplanned power outage.

The power outage is currently under investigation by Fortis Alberta. According to Fortis Alberta this sudden outage is impacting 137 customers; the cause is still unknown.

The outage began at 10:37 a.m. and Fortis Alberta is predicting power restoration for 1:30 p.m.
