On Nov. 7, 2024, at 3:45 p.m. Wetaskiwin RCMP received a report of a residential fire on 55 Ave. in Wetaskiwin.
When officers arrived, one unit of the town house complex was on fire.
The Wetaskiwin Fire Department was able to bring the blaze under control and emergency workers evacuated all residential units. Other units in the complex were damaged as a result of the blaze.
The RCMP remained on scene the next day conducting an investigation into the fire.
"Although very early, the circumstances around the fire are suspicious," stated an RCMP press release.
