Wetaskiwin RCMP investigate aggravated assault

Wetaskiwin RCMP are seeking information from public.

On Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at approximately 9:20 p.m. Wetaskiwin RCMP responded to a report of a seriously injured male as a resulting of a stabbing in Wetaskiwin. The incident occurred outside at the corner of 40th Avenue and 53A Street.

EMS was called and male was transported to Royal Alexandria Hospital. The male victim suffered multiple stab wounds and is currently recovering from his injuries.
