Wetaskiwin RCMP are actively investigating a vehicle fire that took place Feb. 8, at approximately 8:20 p.m. after the Wetaskiwin Fire Department was dispatched to the scene of a transit-style bus on fire.
The fire took place in the area of 48 Street and 40 Ave Wetaskiwin, Alta.
The quick response by fire crews limited the blaze to the bus itself. It was later determined that the fire was intentionally set.
Wetaskiwin RCMP are now asking for public assistance to identify the suspect responsible and anyone with information related to the incident is asked to contact police at 780-312-7200.
