Update-Wetaskiwin RCMP seek assistance location missing woman

Update- Omeasoo has been located safe and sound.

Original Story- On May 31, 2021, Wetaskiwin RCMP were notified of a concern for Jaylynne Omeasoo’s wellbeing.

Omeasoo was potentially last seen leaving the area of 51 Street and 49 Ave in Wetaskiwin on foot May 27, 2021. She has not been seen or heard from since.

RCMP are attempting to locate Omeasoo to confirm her well being. She may be in the Maskwacis area.

Omeasoo is described as female, Indigenous, five-foot-three-inches tall, 200 lbs with dark hair and brown eyes. She was last known to be wearing a grey hoodie and black slacks.
