Update: Wetaskiwin RCMP seeking assistance locating missing female

Update — Janiah Kendra Rattlesnake has been located safe and sound.

Original Story — Wetaskiwin RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance to locate 15-year-old Janiah Kendra Rattlesnake. Rattlesnake was last seen at her residence sometime overnight on April 22, 2021 at approximately 10:30 p.m. in the area of Green Ash Drive in Wetaskiwin and has not been seen or heard from since.

Wetaskiwin RCMP were notified of Rattlesnake’s disappearance on April 23, 2021. Rattlesnake may be in the Maskwacis area. RCMP are attempting to locate her to confirm her well being.

Rattlesnake is described as:

• Female;

• Indigenous;

• Six-foot-one-inches and 110 lbs;

• Short brown hair;

• Brown eyes;

Rattlesnake is believed to be wearing a black or grey hoody with jeans or leggings and either red Nike shoes or white runners. She does have a nose ring and multiple ear piercings.
