The Wetaskiwin chapter of TOPS - Taking off Pounds Sensibly - has recognized their top achiever for the year, Donna Isbister.
Isbister joined the program in January, 2024.
"With shear determination and club support she lost 152 lbs in the year," said Wetaskiwin TOPS chair Brenda Shaver.
Isbister was the best achiever, not just locally, but within the TOPS organization in Canada and the United States.
"Our local chapter is so proud of her and her very hard work," said Shaver.
TOPS Wetaskiwin meets Thursdays at Calvary Baptist Church. Weigh in is at 6 p.m. and the meeting begins at 6:30. All are welcome.
TOPS Club Inc. is based on peer-to-peer gatherings, and is a network of weight loss support groups as well as a wellness education organization.
