Teddy Bear toss to take place at Wetaskiwin Icemen vs. Leduc Co-op Riggers game

This year’s teddy bear toss is set to take place as the Wetaskiwin Icemen faceoff against the Leduc Co-op Riggers on Nov. 14, 2021 in Wetaskiwin, Alta.

This year’s teddy bear toss is set to take place as the Wetaskiwin Icemen faceoff against the Leduc Co-op Riggers on Nov. 14, 2021 in Wetaskiwin, Alta.

Before Nov. 14, community members can purchase a teddy bear from the Wetaskiwin Brick for $21.95 each and proceeds from the bears will be donated to the Stollery Children’s Hospital in Edmonton, Alta. Following the teddy bear toss, the bears will be collected and donated to Wetaskiwin Victim Services.

People attending the game can also bring their own teddy bears to throw on the ice at the end of the first period.

This is the fourth year that the Brick in Wetaskiwin has organized the teddy bear toss for at a Wetaskiwin Icemen game.
