Falun 4-H submits final beef club report

Falun youth club cleans up litter, names champions

This is from the office of J.R. Good and Hulaina Anderson. On May 6 Falun East Beef 4-H did highway clean-up in the Wetaskiwin County. Every group that had at least four people including the supervisor walked four miles picking up trash in the ditches. Each group found interesting stuff, but our group found two snakes and we thought that was pretty cool. We would like to thank Krause Farms for bringing us donuts and water bottles to enjoy while we were working.

A big thank you to all that supported our yearly fundraiser of hanging baskets.

On May 15 the Falun East beef 4-H and Rosebrier Beef 4-H had our achievement day and everybody did very well. The Falun East Beef clubs Grand Champion was Hulaina Anderson, and the Reserve Champion was J.R. Good. The interclub Grand Champion was in Rosebrier but the Reserve Champion was Hulaina Anderson.

The interclub Grand Champion Female was Hulaina Anderson and the Reserve Champion was in Rosebrier. We would like to thank all the people, buyers and sponsors for coming to our show and sale. Your continued support is very appreciated. A special thank you goes out to all our parents, and our club leader Curtis Pohl for making our 4-H year a great success.

See you next year!
