Falun East 4-H Beef club helps collect 1,400 tires

Falun 4-H Beef Club is doing great

Hi, I’m William van Oeveren and I am one of the two club reporters for Falun East Beef 4-H Club.

The past two months has been great and every member is working hard knowing Mini show and Show day are just around the corner.

In the past two months our club has had their Tire Drive collecting just under 1,400 tires, had our third monthly club meeting, volunteered for Santa’s Elves on Dec. 15 at Ma-me-o Hall and had our 4-H Christmas party.

On December 30th we watched a movie and had a gift exchange. Our first club event of the year was Calf Tour on January 5th, and all the calves were looking awesome.

After that the club came back to Falun Hall to have pizza, make halters and neckties for our calves.

Throughout 2019 there will be some dates you can mark down on your calendar:

• Feb 10/2019 Public speaking at Lone Ridge Hall,

• May 4/2019 Annual Highway Clean-up,

• May 13/2019 Show & Sale Day at Wetaskiwin Ag. Grounds,

Thank you to all our supporters!

Watch for more to keep you posted, till then have a great New Year.
