Fire breaks out at Stettler Motel

Stettler firefighters were on site as heavy smoke was seen billowing from Stettler Motel around 9 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 18.

A fire broke out at the Stettler Motel early Friday morning, Nov. 18 with RCMP and firetrucks on scene.

Stettler firefighters managed to get the fire under control even though thick smoke was seen billowing out of the building.

Located at the busy intersection of highways 12 and 56, the Stettler Motel is adjacent to Dairy Queen.

Although the cause for fire has not yet been ascertained, it is under investigation.
