Frozen or fresh fruit desert great for summer

You can use your own pastry if you like

Now that the weather is a little cooler and you can turn your oven on again this is a nice dessert and can be made with frozen or fresh fruit.

You can use your own pastry if you like for this recipe, but I tend to like puff pastry instead. Either one works well. Enjoy!

Peach and Blueberry Tart

3 c. Blueberries

3 c. Sliced peaches

½ tsp. Almond extract

1 ¼ c. Sugar

3 tbsp. Tapioca

½ tsp. Cinnamon

2 tbsp. Butter cut into small pcs.

Combine fruit, spices etc. and mix well. Roll out pastry and drape over a pie plate. Add filling and bring pastry up around it.

Bake at 400 F. For 45 to 50 mins.
