On March 13 the Leduc 4-H beef club held their monthly meeting.

At the meeting the club discussed their upcoming events, especially the district beef on April 8 at Hay Lakes, when the members will show their cattle with other clubs; and Achievement Day on June 5 At the Leduc Recreation Centre.

Achievement Day is the climax of the 4-H year, and is what the whole year leads up to.

On Achievement Day 4-H members will again show their calves and have them judged, and the members who raised steers will then sell them. Often the buyers of the calves are businesses or companies looking for good advertising.

Both the district show and achievement day are open to the public.
