Leduc RCMP search for man involved in July shooting

Police believe he may be in possession of a firearm and ask the public not to confront him.

Leduc RCMP are searching for a male involved in a shooting that occurred on July 17, 2020.

Charges have been laid against Salah Ali Aden, 20, of Edmonton following the shooting that happened July 17 at an apartment building in the West Haven area.

July 17, Leduc RCMP located two adult males suffering non-life threatening injuries inside the apartment building. Both were transported via EMS to hospital and have since been released.

Leduc General Investigation Section with the assistance of RCMP Forensic Identification Services continue to investigate.

Aden has been charged with nine charges including aggravated assault.

He is described as:

· 5”7

· 120 lbs

· Black hair

· Brown eyes

Aden’s current whereabouts are unknown, however, he has been known to frequent Edmonton area.

Police believe he may be in possession of a firearm and ask the public not to confront him.
