A popular Millet bar and grill suffered damage in a break and enter but it appears the burglar was interrupted before finishing.
According to Wetaskiwin RCMP spokesperson Cst. Christine Hepburn, “On November 23, 2018 Wetaskiwin RCMP were called to Leanne’s Bar and Grill in Millet.
“Police attended the location and confirmed that there had been entry into the front door. The individual had left the location before police arrived.
“The suspect caused significant damaged to a VLT (video lottery terminal) and an ATM. Nothing appears to have been taken. It does appear that the suspect was interrupted before police attended.”
