Leduc RCMP report Glen Park Road re-opened both directions at 12:15 p.m.

ORIGINAL STORY

Another collision involving a motorcyclist has occurred, this time in Leduc County June 20, with roads closed at the time of reporting.

According to Leduc RCMP spokesperson Cst. Bridget Morla, “At approximately 6:30 a.m., Leduc RCMP received a report of a motor vehicle collision involving a truck and motorcycle on Glen Park Road close to Range Road 244, east of Kavanagh, in Leduc County.

“A 45 year old driver of the motorcycle received unknown serious injuries and was airlifted via STARS air ambulance to hospital. The truck driver was released on scene.

“Traffic is being diverted while members along with an RCMP collision analyst are on scene.

“The investigation continues and further details are not available at this time. An update will be provided once the road is open.”
