Wetaskiwin RCMP are investigating repeated break and enters at a Pigeon Lake area campground.

According to Wetaskiwin RCMP spokesperson Cst. Shaun Marchand, “On October 5, 2019 Wetaskiwin RCMP responded to a complaint of break and enter at the Pigeon Lake RV Resort. Between October 2nd and October 5th, multiple RV trailers had unknown suspect(s) gain access to the trailers by damaging locks and/or windows and carelessly routing through them.

“Wetaskiwin RCMP is requesting assistance from the public for any information or leads on possible suspect(s).

“Property crimes are a priority for the RCMP. Alberta RCMP are committed to increased inter-agency communication, shared criminal intelligence and a strategic focus on prolific property crimes offenders, in keeping with the K Division emphasis on crime reduction strategies.
