On May 21, 2016 at 12:50 p.m. Thorsby/Breton RCMP and Leduc County Fire Services were called to a two vehicle collision at Glen Park Road and Range Road 281 near Thorsby, Alberta.
Emergency Services arrived on scene to find an 82 year old female driver trapped in a SUV. Leduc County Fire Services extracted the female from the vehicle. She was transported to Leduc Hospital where she was pronounced deceased.
The 19 year old male driver and female passenger of a full size pickup truck were transported to U of A Hospital by Ambulance with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The RCMP Traffic Services Collision Analyst is on scene investigating the collision to determine the cause and any contributing factors.
