Rural crime awareness meeting in Mulhurst Bay May 10

Several meetings coming up in Warburg, Breton and Thorsby

Several rural crime awareness meetings are coming up in the region, offering advice from RCMP on how to deal with the issue.

A major meeting will be held in Warburg May 8, sponsored by the Warburg Pembina Surface Rights Group. The meeting will feature Thorsby/Breton S/Sgt. Harp Dhaliwal offering advice on practical, easy to understand rural crime prevention. The meeting will be held at the community hall, begins at 7 p.m., will include a coffee break and is open to all.

On May 10 a similar meeting will be held in Mulhurst Bay, also featuring S/Sgt. Dhaliwal. The meeting will be held in the community hall and begins at 7 p.m.

Two more meetings will be held later in the month, May 17 at Breton Community Centre and May 24 at the Thorsby and District Community Centre.
