Two tasty salad recipes complete with dressing will excite the taste buds this week.
Four Week Coleslaw
3 lbs. Or more cabbage
Onions
Carrots
3/4 c. Sugar
Mix and set aside
Dressing
1 c. Vinegar
1 tsp. Salt
1/4 c. Sugar
2 tsp. Dry mustard
2 tsp. Celery seed
Shred cabbage, onions and carrots. Add sugar and set aside. Mix dressing and bring to a boil. Add 3/4 cup of oil. Boil for 1 min. Pour over vegetables. Cool for a least three hours. Cover tightly and store.
Greek Salad
Cubed Red Onion
Cubed Cucumber
Cubed Tomatoes
Cubed Green Pepper
Sliced Black Olives
Cubed Feta Cheese
Dressing
Wine Vinegar
Oil
Oregano
1 Tsp. Lemon Juice
Mix cubed vegetables and toss with dressing.
