Tangy mustard recipes won’t disappoint

Liven up meat and other dishes with these homes mustards

These recipes are for the mustard lovers. Enjoy!

Cajun Mustard

2 oz. Dry mustard

1 tbsp. Flour

3 tbsp. White wine vinegar

1 tbsp. Honey

1 clove finely chopped garlic

1 tbsp. Hot red pepper flakes

1 tsp. Oregano

1 tsp. Ground cumin

1 tsp. Thyme

1 tsp. Black pepper

1 tsp. Paprika

Combine dry mustard and flour. Gradually add 1/4 c. Cold water. Let stand for 15 mins. Add remaining ingredients

Hot Mustard

2 heaping tbsp. Mustard

3 heaping tbsp.

3 heaping tbsp. Sugar

Salt and Pepper

1/2 – 1 tsp. Turmeric

Mix to a paste with boiling water. Thin to your liking with vinegar and let stand overnight. Keeps well.

Mustard Pineapple Sauce

1 can crushed pineapple

3 tbsp. Dry mustard

1 c. White sugar

1/2 c. Brown sugar

3/4 c.

3 tbsp. Flour

2 eggs

Mix and cook until thickened. Let cool. Very good with ham.
