Tasty, mysterious treats in the kitchen this week

Dill-flavoured onion rings sound great

I never did know the proper name for these, but they are tasty.

Turn Around Pants

2 c. Milk

2 tsp. Baking powder

2 Eggs

1/2 c. Margarine

1 c. Sugar

1/2 tsp. Salt

6 c. Flour

1/4 tsp. Nutmeg

Mix. Roll to 1/8 inch thick and cut into two inch strips. Cut a slit in the center of each strip.

Pull one end through the slit. Deep fry until golden brown. Roll in sugar, cinnamon, sugar etc.

Dilled Onion Rings

1 lg. Sliced onion

1/3 c. Sugar

2 tsp. Salt

1 tbp. Dill

1/4 c. Water

Slice onion. Combine remaining ingredients. Pour over onions. Refrigerate for at least five hours.
