Police news update for the Thorsby, Breton, Buck Lake area

On July 22nd at Approximately 0445 a.m. fuel was stolen out of a farm yard located four miles South of Breton off Highway 20.  Vehicle described as being very loud.  Padlock on the fuel tank was cut and fuel stolen.

Between July 19th and July 21st, 2016 Husky Energy had ground cables stolen from a lease site located southwest of Buck Creek near the Gravel Pits in the River Valley.  Costs for replacement and repair estimated at $1,000.

At approximately 2:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 17th, 2016 an older model white Ford F-150 4×4 regular cab was burnt approximately one kilometre East of Buck Lake.  Police and Fire crews were on scene and that investigation continues.
