The Wetaskiwin Composite High School wrestling team great news in that our three high school wrestlers brought home the ASAA Rural Provincial Wrestling Championship banner for 3A schools this weekend, held in Sexsmith.
All three boys are in Grade 12: Kjel Gusdal: Gold 72 kg, Jakob Dormaar: Silver 75 kg and Allen Paquette: Fourth, 65 kg.
Coaches for the event included Shane Rybak and Shamus McDonnell.
