Two masked men break into Pigeon Lake ag centre, steal ATM Feb. 4

Wetaskiwin RCMP respond to break and enter at Lakedell Agricultural Center

Wetaskiwin RCMP are investigating the theft of an instant teller from the Lakedell Ag Society on Tuesday, Feb. 4.

According to a press release from Wetaskiwin RCMP spokesperson Cst. Shaun Marchand, “On February 4, 2020 Wetaskiwin RCMP responded to a complaint of break and enter at the Lakedell Agricultural Center near Pigeon Lake.

“Surveillance video shows that around 1:30 a.m., two unknown suspect(s) gained access to the building by damaging the entrance door and stealing an ATM.

“Suspects used an older model, dark colored Dodge Ram with a back rack displaying a deer head sticker, chrome sidesteps and rear box rails. Individuals were wearing masks.

“Wetaskiwin RCMP is requesting assistance from the public for any information or leads on possible suspect(s).

“If anyone has information regarding this vehicle and/or suspects, they are asked to contact the Wetaskiwin RCMP Detachment at 780-312-7267 or their local police.
