Wetaskiwin RCMP seek public assistance to locate missing female

A Wetaskiwin woman has been reported missing for quite a number of days and police are looking for help in finding her.

According to a press release from the Wetaskiwin RCMP, “RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance to locate 39-year-old Twyla Evans. Twyla was last seen on Sept. 6, 2019 between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. at her residence in Wetaskiwin.

“She was on her way to see a movie. It is uncertain if she attended. Twyla’s green Jeep Compass was located unoccupied parked near the Safeway on September 7, 2019.

“Twyla Evans is described as:

Caucasian female

5’7”

average build

shoulder length blackish red hair

green eyes

dark rimmed glasses

rose tattoo on her arm

may be wearing a light grey jacket

may be carrying a small red purse with a shoulder strap

“There is a general concern for Twyla’s well being.
