Wetaskiwin’s Sacred Heart School at track day

2019 Track STAR Challenge cup held June 4

On June 4, Grade 5 and 6 students from various STAR Catholic Schools competed in the annual track and field challenge at the John Bole Athletic Park in Leduc.

Students from Father Lacombe Catholic School (Lacombe), St. Augustine School (Ponoka), Sacred Heart School (Wetaskiwin), St. Anthony School (Drayton Valley), Father Leduc Catholic School (Leduc), St. Benedict School (Leduc), Notre Dame School (Leduc), and École Mother d’Youville School (Beaumont) were all involved in the event.

The 2019 Track STAR Challenge cup winners and reigning champs for the third year in a row were École Notre Dame School! Coming in second was École Mother d’Youville School, and rounding out third place was St. Benedict School.

A big congratulations to our winners, but all of our students are STARS!
