April 21, 1943 - December 10, 2018
Al passed away peacefully on December 10 at the age of 75 at the Wetaskiwin Hospital after a battle with Lewy Body Dementia. He had a great love for life. He loved his community and was a part of many organizations. A couple of his biggest accomplishment were the work with Millet Fire Department, Alcoholics Anonymous and the Millet Museum. He was also part of the Millet Legion, Millet and District Historical Society, Millet Lions Club, Millet and District Chamber of Commerce, East-West Rural Fire Co-op, Millet and District Seniors Club. Millet Cubs and Scouts. He also loved to help-out with other groups if they needed an extra set of hands.

Al is survived by his loving wife, Mary of 21 years; his children, Christina (Pascal), Leo, Brian, Shielah (Dave), Stacey (Brett) and Kim (Ryan); grandchildren, Amelia, Scott, Kristen (Cole), Jesse, Alexa, Stevie and Charlie; great-granddaughters, Zoe and Blayke; mother-in- law, Alice Sinclair; siblings, Elnora, Ed (Barb), Joanne (Bob), Marilyn, Ed (Pauline); sister-in-law, Lynn; brother-in-law, Ron (Claudette) as well as many nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Anton and Evelyn; step-father, James and brother-in-law, PJ.

Al was remembered on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Wetaskiwin Drill Hall. We would to thank everyone who stayed after the service and shared stories.
