In loving memory ~

Alvin Klause was born in Wetaskiwin, Alberta, on August 24, 1931, and spent his entire life in his beloved hometown. He married Hedy Grams, his high school sweetheart, and together they shared a passion for music and a love of life.

Alvin's love for music and performance was evident in his words, "Comradery and enjoyment of it; I just love to perform."

Alvin is survived by his three children, Kevin (Heather), Carolyn (Michael), and Ken (Alix); his grandchildren, Stephanie (Chad), Nicolas (Rachel), Georgia (Bryce), Hudson (Brianna), and his two great-grandchildren, Arlis (Chad/Stephanie) and Shia (Bryce/Georgia). He was predeceased by his wife, Hedy as well as his siblings, Walt Klause and Harry Klause.

"Music... amongst the gifts that God hath sent... one of the most magnificent."

Alvin's life was a symphony of dedication, passion, and service, and his legacy will be cherished by all who knew him.

A memorial service will take place on Monday, April 28, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at the First United Church in Wetaskiwin, Alberta. Donations in Alvin's memory are gratefully accepted to MS Canada (mscanada.ca).
