February 2, 1933 - June 3, 2025
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Audrey Hougestol of Wetaskiwin, Alberta, on June 3, 2025. Audrey was born in Leduc, Alberta, on February 2, 1933, to Rachel and James Durstling.
Audrey will be forever remembered by her children: Terry (Debbie), Greg (Lynn), Murray, and Kelly (Michelle); her beloved grandchildren: Michael, Zachary, David, Christopher, Jessie, Lindsay, Emily, and Grace; and her great-grandchildren: Vada, Benjamin, and Archibald.
She also leaves behind her siblings: Marlace, Don, Del, and Judy, along with countless nieces and nephews whom she held dear to her heart.
Audrey was predeceased by her parents, Rachel and James; her spouses, Leon Workun (1966) and Archie Hougestol (2004); her son, Dean Workun; and her siblings, Sylvia and Sonny.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025, at 1:30 PM at the Moose Hall, 4915 49 Street, Wetaskiwin, AB.
