In Loving Memory (1925-2024) ~

It is with deep sorrow and love that we morn the peaceful passing of Ben Pohl at the age of 98 years.

Ben is remembered by his wife Ruby, children, Darlene (Bert) Kreutz, Anita Pohl-Dagge, Kathleen (Darek) Woloszyn, Victor (Susanne) Pohl, and Donald (Tracy) Pohl, grandchildren Christine, Jennifer, Melania, Greg, Anthony, Sophia, Ceyanna, Hannah, Matheson, and Sarah, as well as great-grandchildren Saige, Avery, and Marlo.

Ben was predeceased by his parents Emanuel and Alma Pohl, brothers, Walter, John, Ray, Richard, sister Ellen and son-in-law Ulrich Dagge.

A graveside service was held on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at Emmaus Lutheran Cemetery. Funeral service followed at Zion Lutheran Church, Wetaskiwin.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the incredible and caring staff at Bethany Meadows, Camrose and Unit 2, St. Mary's Hospital Camrose, who were very compassionate and made Ben's last days peaceful. Thank you also to the many people who expressed their sympathies and gave support.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lutheran Hour Ministries, (270 Lawrence Avenue, Kitchener, Ontario. N2M 1Y4) or Zion Lutheran Church , (5417 40 Ave. Wetaskiwin, Alta. T9A 0A7), or a charity of donor's choice are greatly appreciated.
