It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Derek B. Ponto, age 62 on Aug 16 2019 at the University of Alberta Hospital. Derek is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Laurie. He will be dearly missed by his children Kandice (Jeff), Kristen, Kamille (Sean), Kaylene, Karsen & Kevin, and his grandchildren Romeo, Madilyn, Rylan and Aliyah- whom Derek loved to bits! Mother Joan (Art), 3 brothers James, Darren, Chris and sister Jennifer. Predeceased by his father Beverly Ponto.
