Eleanor was born on August 18, 1932 in Wetaskiwin, Alberta and entered into rest on December 14, 2021 at the age of 89 years.
Eleanor will be forever missed by her loving family; daughters, Janet (Clifford) Stone of Westerose, Joan Miller of Rimbey and Judy Cawley of Cremona; grandchildren, Shawna (Cory) Schriver, Blaine (Susann) Stone, Micheal (Greg) Reynaud, Blair (Sheryl) Stone, Carmen (Justin) Pezderic, Amanda Miller (Jimmy DeLeon) Melissa Miller (Ryan Storie), Katie Miller (Logan Radzick); great-grandchildren, Colton Cawley, Quinn and Ryleigh Schriver, Reese, Porter and Bailey Stone, Morgan and Hope Reynaud, Caleb, Milaya, Nakoby and Cyanna Stone, Charley Pezderic and Eleanor Storie; siblings, Joyce (Al) Hallgren, Don (Nita) Harden, Duane (Darlene) Harden, Marlene Dyrland, Robert (Marilyn) Harden, Linda (Ray) Harden, Marlys Gullason, Brenda (Randy) Wight; sisters-in-law, Pat Harden, Darlene Harden and Carol Dufva as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and many good friends.
Eleanor was predeceased by her loving husband of 54 years, Ivan (2006); son, Wilfred (1975); parents, Dorothy and Leroy Harden; and by her siblings, Roland Harden, Dorothy Anderson, Ron Harden and Raymond Harden.
A celebration honouring Eleanor was held at the Lakedell Ag Society Arena on Sunday, December 19, 2021 at 1:30 pm.
In Eleanor's memory, donations are gratefully accepted to the Lakedell 4-H Light Horse Club, Alzheimer Society of Alberta or to the charity of the donor's choice.
