It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Emma Baehl on August 17, 2020, at the age of 95 years.
Emma is survived by her loving family, Mike (Margo) Baehl, Lena (Don) Peterson, Peter Baehl, Fred (Lavonne) Baehl; grandchildren, Ryan Baehl, Lonny (Natasha) Baehl, Shane (Natasha) Baehl, Pam (Trent) Elgert, Kim (Greg) Humbke, Corey (Megan) Peterson, Chris (Nichole) Baehl, Kurtis (Jodi) Baehl; 13 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Lorraine Bosshardt as well as numerous relatives in Switzerland.
Emma was predeceased by her husband, Jacques Baehl; son, John Baehl; daughter-in-law, Madeline Baehl; her parents, Hans (Lina) Bosshardt, and Rene (Marion) Baehl; sisters, Lina, Bertha, Margaret and Annie; brothers, Christian and Jacob Bosshardt, as well as her brother-in-law, Pierre Baehl.
Emma was born August 8, 1925 in Switzerland. She and Jacques married and came to Canada in 1950. She will be sadly missed.
A private family Graveside Memorial will be held at the Wetaskiwin Cemetery.
Donations in Emma's memory are gratefully accepted to the Wetaskiwin Health Foundation - Palliative Care Unit.
