February 26, 1947 - March 7, 2020
It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Michael Thompson in Wetaskiwin on March 7, 2020. Mike was much loved and will be sorely missed by his wife, Jan; his children, Eve and Jamie (Holly); and by his grandson Maxwell. Mike grew up in Spirit River with his parents, Bob and Isabel Thompson, his brother, Keith; all whom have predeceased him. He taught school for many years in Grande Prairie, Rosebriar and Millet, also in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, where he served with CUSO.
