Harry Stephan Borys

February 6, 1948 - June 6, 2019
We are very sad to announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Harry Borys on June 6, 2019 at the age of 71 years. Harry will be lovingly remembered by his wife Sandra; sons Dean (Bonnie) of Blackfalds, Neil (Leann) of Penhold; grandchildren Megan and Logan; brother Roger (Suzanne) of Wetaskiwin, sister-in-law Phyllis (Richard) Wagar of Wetaskiwin; brother-in-law Chris Hill of Edmonton, numerous nieces and nephews, special Aunties Kate Moebes, Edna Kolody, Millie Miller, and a host of beloved family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Steve and Helen Borys, father-in-law Joe Maciborsky, mother-in-law Martha (Bill) Basnett, and sisters-in-law Gloria Borys and Joyce Hill.
Harry was a loving husband of nearly 50 years, who deeply loved his best bud "Sanny", his sons, "girls", beloved grandchildren and worked tirelessly for his community.
A Funeral Service will take place at the Falun Community Hall on Thursday, June 13, 2019 with a viewing at 1 pm. and a Celebration of Life at 2 pm. with luncheon and fellowship to follow. Cremation and private interment to take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation, S.T.A.R.S. or the Wetaskiwin Health Foundation - Palliative Care.
