GOIN, John Henry “Jack”

July 10, 1918 – September 21, 2017

Jack is survived by his loving family; children: Gary (Lyla), and Barbara Harvey; Grandchildren: Wade (Melissa), Leah (Jon) Janssen, and Mark; Great grandchildren: Ava, Jesse, Riley, Georgia, Jewel, Ella Janssen and Levi, Joel, Asher Goin; his sister Miriam Wright. Jack also leaves many nieces, nephews and extended relatives.

Jack was predeceased by his wife Belle in 2010; his son Daniel; his son in law Jean-Claude; and by five brothers and five sisters.

Jack’s Funeral Service will take place at Lighthouse Fellowship (#1000, 3725-56 Street, Wetaskiwin), at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 29, 2017. A Graveside Service will take place following the reception at the Millet Cemetery.

The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff at Sunrise Village in Wetaskiwin and The Maple Cottage of Bethany Manor in Camrose for the wonderful care and compassion they showed to Jack in his final years.

Memorial donations in memory of Jack may be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation.
