John Joe Staroba passed away on February 4, 2018 at the age of 84 years of cancer.
He will be be remembered by his sister, Velma (Dennis) Oakey of Red Deer; niece, Kelliann (Dwayne) and their daughters, Alaina and Mayleigh; brother, Charlie (Mavis) of Sherwood Park; nephews, Trevor (Marcene) of Edmonton, Terry and his daughter, Riley of Calgary, sister, Mary Bellow of Wetaskiwin; brother, Stanley of Wetaskiwin; extended family, Brad Schwartz and his family of Edmonton; very special life long friend, Morrie Squire of Westlock.
John was predeceased by his parents, Annie and John Staroba; brother, Stanley; sister, Hedy; brother-in-law, Merv Bellows; and sister-in-law, Beth Staroba.
Rest in peace, John, with no more pain. God Bless.
A celebration of John's life will be held on Friday, February 23, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. at Baker Funeral Chapel in Wetaskiwin. In John's memory, donations are gratefully accepted to the Cross Cancer Institute.
