John Wolcott Novotny, of Wetaskiwin, Alberta, passed away on Sunday, October 6th, 2024, at the age of 90 years. John is survived by his children Terry (Tony), Trent (Lisa), Todd (Wendy), and Troy; grandchildren Kelsey (Jason), Corey, Kyle, Cole, Ethan, Chelsey (Nick), McKenzie (Cole), Chase, Lindy, and Robbie; great-grandchildren Isabel, Aubrey, and Brixley; sister-in-law Carole Lee; brothers-in-law Harley Astner, Mike Kliparchuk; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his wife Shirley; parents John and Dorothy; sisters Ona Mae (Doug), Jean, and Mary Jo; great-grandchild Austin; sister-in-law Deanna; and brother-in-law Andy.In keeping with John's wishes, no formal funeral service will be held.
