It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of Maud Brosius. Maud was born and raised on a ranch west of Fort Macleod. She married Harry Brosius in 1942 and farmed in the area until 1964 when they moved to Wetaskiwin to continue farming.
In 1973 Maud sold the farm and moved to Longview to be close to her daughter Louise and family. 1999 saw Maud return to Wetaskiwin to enjoy her retirement hobbies of quilting, sewing and crocheting. 2015 until her passing Maud resided at Season's Retirement Community.
Maud is survived by her children, Louise Russell, Linda (Maurice) Olson, Don (Judy) Brosius, Brenda (Harvey) King; daughter-in-law, Dianna Brosius; 11 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and 6 great great grandchildren. Maud was predeceased by her husband, Harry (1972); son, Lee (2018); son-in-law, Roy (2012). As per Maud's wishes a private family Graveside service will take place.
