On April 30, 2022 Myrna Rode of Wetaskiwin, passed away suddenly at the age of 80 years.
Myrna was raised and schooled in the Homeglen / Lonesome Pine area and has made her home in the Wetaskiwin and Millet area for most of her adult life. She is survived by her loving family; daughter, Shirley- Ann Hardie (Mike Eldridge) and son, Don (Pum) Hardie; grandchildren, Amanda (Shaun) Paradis, Dawnalee (Javier) Miranda and Jessica Hardie Eldridge; great-grandchildren, Braden and Lathaniel Weiss and Noah Dawn, Jonah, Joran and Elle Miranda; siblings, Alfred Rode (Glenda), Dave (Linda) Christie, Gary (Susan) Rode, Claire (Kevin) Riddiough and Ruth (Brian) Magas. As well as several cousins, nieces and nephews. Myrna was predeceased by her granddaughter, Andrea Renner and by her parents, Reinhold and Helen.

A memorial service honouring Myrna's life will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 5410-36 Avenue, Wetaskiwin, on Friday, May 13, 2022 at 7:00 p.m.
