Neil Thorval Kjorlien, 74, of Red Deer passed away on August 17, 2018.
Raised in rural Wetaskiwin, he spent time in Drayton Valley and Calgary, before retiring in Red Deer.
He especially remembered his years working in Australia and he was always happiest in the outdoors with hunting and camping. Neil was a Mountainman, a Mechanical Designer/ Engineer, a Cabinet maker and Woodworker and after retiring, a Model Train builder.
Most of all, Neil was a Father, Brother and Uncle. He will be deeply missed by his 2 daughters, Zara of Red Deer and Yvonne of Calgary and everyone else he met in his life journey.
