Reinhold Henry Fuss departed this earthly life on May 6, 2018.
He was born December 29, 1928 to Joseph and Olga (nee Wutzke) Fuss in Wetaskiwin, Alberta, the second oldest of six children.
Reinhold married Lydia Bonkowsky on August 22, 1951. They were blessed with three children: Leonard (Cathy), Nelson BC; Nea (Doug), Saskatoon SK and Marc, Millet AB as well as five grandsons - Brendan Fuss, Nicholas Fuss, Darren Fuss, David (Cera) Ellingsen and Graham Ellingsen.
Reinhold farmed in the Brightview AB area until his divorce in 1992.
He retired to Wetaskiwin where he resided until he relocated to Nelson BC in 2010. He enjoyed his time in BC and being closer to family however his heart always remained in Alberta.
Reinhold was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Olga Fuss, stepmother, Emma Fuss, his eldest sister, Elsie Dubbledam, and his brother Ewaldt (Wally) Fuss.
He is survived by his children and grandsons as well as his siblings - Harry (Ruth) Fuss, Josephine (Barrie) Reeder, Martha (Wilfred) Christman, Hertha Babiak and Wilma (Oskar) Nerenberg.
We thank the staff at Jubilee Manor as well as Dr. Trevor Janz for their care during his time there.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 2 PM at Zion Lutheran Church, 5417 - 40 Ave Wetaskiwin AB.
