With speeches from local Elders, City of Wetaskiwin Mayor Tyler Gandam, and event organizer and MC, Deanna Cutknife, the Bring Our Children Home Peace Rally took place in Jubilee Park in Wetaskiwin, Alta., on July 22, 2021.

The rally was to honour the children lost to the Canada Indian Residential Schools and the survivors.

The rally included speeches, an honour song, prayers, and a pipe ceremony.
