These cookies were one of the favourites at home and at the 4-H meetings. Hope you and your family enjoy.
Ingredients:
1 cup butter
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
2 tsp. Vanilla
2 eggs
2 1/4 cup flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 cup smarties
Instructions:
Blend butter and white and brown sugars together until fluffy. Beat in vanilla and eggs.
Sept remaining dry ingredients together. Add to sugar and egg mixture, blending well stirrer and half of cup of candies. Reserve remaining candies for decorating.
Drop from teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. Decorate tops with remaining candies. Remove cookies with spatula from pan when cooked and placed on wire rack to cool. After baking some of the counties may be slightly cracked this just adds texture and interest to cookies, still the same delightful flavour these are baked at
375 degrees for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
