The Online News Act, also known as Bill C-18, is set to soon take effect in Canada. In response to this legislation, Meta and Google have announced they will be removing news created by Canadian journalists from their platforms.

For us, it has always been about keeping you, the reader, informed with credible news told by journalists who live and work in your community.

Don't lose out on trusted local journalism.

While we no longer will be found on these platforms, we're not going anywhere.
