The Wetaskiwin Civic Hall was alive and bustling with the energy of the Taste of Wetaskiwin Sept. 23.
Community members lined up at tables of local vendors including restaurants and breweries from around the County of Wetaskiwin sampling the best of each and enjoying the ambiance.
The event has been cancelled for the past two years due to COVID-19 however, that only heightened the excitement for this year’s event.
“We are just so thankful for the community of Wetaskiwin for supporting the event,” says City of Wetaskiwin Councillor Karen Aberle.
“We were really excited to see everyone out.”
In addition to great food and drinks attendees also enjoyed live entertainment including a live painter and a traditional Indigenous dancing performance.
Aberle says that she suspects next year’s date for Taste of Wetaskiwin will be set soon.
