The owner of an antique shop in downtown Wetaskiwin is looking for vendors for a market this summer.

Stacy Eckenswiller, who owns Forgotten in Time Antique Mall is organizing the event. The market is to run from May 20 until the September long weekend.

One block in front of the store on Main Street will be closed for the market, which will take place between 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Sunday.

“What we’re looking for is vendors of all sorts, food trucks, or artisans … food, vegetables, antique tables,” Eckenswiller said.

Eckenswiller also asked non-profit organizations in the city to help them set up the event.

“We’re also looking for nonprofit and not-for-profit organizations to come and help with the setup and the takedown, and they will leave with the proceeds of the rentals of the tables for that day,” Eckenswiller said.

She added that all proceeds of the event will go to charities.

The event is free to attend.
