UPDATE: Leduc RCMP advise of heavy police presence

On March 19, 2024, the RCMP Auto Theft Unit with the assistance of the RCMP Emergency Response Team, Integrated Gang Enforcement Team, and members of Leduc RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence in the Southfork neighbourhood.

Police recovered a stolen and re-vinned 2023 Dodge Ram 3500 and arrested one male.

Inderjeet Uppal, 40, a resident of Leduc, was charged with two counts of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, two counts of forged documents, and fraudulent concealment.

Uppal was released from custody with a court date scheduled for May 2 in the Alberta Court of Justice in Leduc.

Leduc RCMP are advising that there is a heavy police presence in the Southfork area of Leduc, as they are conducting a police operation. RCMP are asking people to avoid the area.
